A Customer Service Assistant with Britbet is a customer facing role, which involves the use of a touchscreen tablet to place bets on behalf of racecourse guests. You will have the opportunity to work in a retail position within the public areas of the racecourse or with a handheld tablet in a hospitality lounge/box area.
Role duties;
- To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers (training provided)
- Pay out guests who supply winning tickets
- Provide excellent customer service to racegoers
- Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day
- Explain different bet types to customers when needed (training provided)
Skills / Attributes;
- Good mental arithmetic
- No prior knowledge of racing or betting needed
- Ability to deal with cash efficiently
- Confident relaying information to guests around bets and races after training
- Enthusiastic!
