Administrative Assistant – Liverpool (6-month contract) Britbet is a partnership of 58 racecourses across the UK, delivering betting services to racegoers under the Britbet and Tote brands. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our Head Office team in Liverpool, supporting our Operations, Recruitment and Finance functions. What you’ll do Office Admin:<ul><li>Manage inbound/outbound calls, emails, post and day-to-day enquiries</li><li>Investigate and track lost or late customer ticket payments</li><li>Arrange collection and delivery of cash floats to racecourses</li><li>Support Operations at race meetings nationwide (staff passes, uniforms, accommodation)</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with On-course workforce and internal departments</li></ul> Recruitment Admin Support:<ul><li>Track candidate progress for racecourse roles</li><li>Support onboarding process (right-to-work checks and documentation)</li><li>Manage inbound/outbound calls and emails</li></ul> What we’re looking for<ul><li>Strong organisational skills</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Confident communicator</li><li>Good customer service/telephony skills</li><li>Positive, proactive approach</li><li>Team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment</li></ul> Benefits<ul><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata)</li><li>Full time hours</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Free on-site parking</li><li>Sick pay</li><li>Casual dress</li><li>Supportive and collaborative team environment</li><li>Opportunity for contract extension or permanent role</li></ul> Schedule<ul><li>5 days per week, Monday to Friday</li><li>37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day</li><li>6 month fixed term (potential for permanent contract)</li></ul> Application question to consider:<ul><li>Are you able to reliably commute to Bootle, Liverpool L30 - Monday to Friday?</li></ul>
