We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Engineering team. The role will be based heavily in the Southeast of England; working across 10 of our 55 racecourses such as Newbury, Brighton and Windsor. Movement around other parts of the UK will be required depending on the needs of the business. The successful candidate will assist the engineering team execute:<ul><li>Setup of On-course hardware, install software and provide onsite support.</li><li>Testing of racecourse infrastructure; network comms and Wi-Fi</li><li>Report any faults to Britbet Network Operations Centre.</li></ul> Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist with the movement of android POS systems to service the Betting Application</li><li>Attend regular meetings/calls to discuss and report on workload, delivery timelines and objectives</li><li>Provide regular updates to management on work package progress, to include any risk or obstacles faced.</li><li>Liaise with the relevant Racecourse staff, creating and maintaining excellent working relationships to ensure the Customer is engaged and supported fully.</li><li>Provide engineering support cover to racecourse fixtures.</li></ul> Essentials:<ul><li>UK Driving Licence</li></ul> Desirable:<ul><li>Basic Networking and Wi-Fi skills</li><li>Woking knowledge of Android tables</li><li>Microsoft 365 user experience</li></ul> Benefits:<ul><li>Permanent contract</li><li>Company Vehicle – Transit Van or similar</li><li>Have the potential to earn an annual bonus</li><li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (sometimes in Lieu)</li><li>Company pension</li><li>Private Medical Cover</li><li>Flexibility with working hours will be required due to the nature of the role</li></ul> You will be expected to ensure that you and those you are responsible for comply always with Health &amp; Safety regulations and safe working practices in accordance with current legislation and as detailed in the Company’s Health &amp; Safety Policy and Procedures.
